End of Summer Happenings!
Here are a few of the things we did to finish up the 2010 Summer:
Trip to Farm Country
Lemonade and Cookie Stand...
With our friends, we made yummy lemonade, rice krispie treats, and cookies to sell! And thanks to our neighbors big shade tree, we were able to have a lucrative spot on the corner.
Trip to Farm Country
It was a HOT day! But it didn't matter... The kids donned their boots, hats, and cowboy shirts! We had lunch, viewed animals, played in a little jail and dance parlor and the hightlight was a HORSE RIDE!!! and finished up with a refreshing ICE CREAM!
The Copper Mine
Daybreak "Beach" and Picnic

Some Summer Stuff!
Here are a few things we did during the Summer of 2010:
***A Summer Kick-off - Memorial Day BBQ with family and friends! Blaine and Marshall and Megan came for a Utah visit during the holiday weekend. They also visited Snow Bird and were greeted with snow...
***We also had other other family visit... Catelyn and Addison and Grandma and Grandpa. They were in town for Dani's Baptism (June 2010).
***Karson had a Wax Museum at school and dressed up like Kristy Yamaguchi, the figure skater. When you pushed a button on her hand, she came alive and told you a little about herself.
***Dad started making Sunday dinners... his and our favorite were Chicken and Vegetable Kabobs... yummy! Keep it up Dad! :)
***Karson went to Girl Scout Camp at Cloud Rim Camp in early July 2010. It was a Short and Sweet Camp (3 days, 2 nights). She sang songs, made new friends, slept in the Eleanore Roosevelt cabin in a sleeping bag, made crafts, tie dyed t-shirts, had waterfront time, hiked around the lake.... She had a good time, but was also glad to get picked up and go home!
After we dropped Karson off on the first day of camp, we saw a Moose out in the open, just off the dirt road we were on...
***And Mom also got to spend the day with 2 great friends in Park City... a little lunch, a little shopping, and little caramel apple and definitely too little time to do it all! :)
***Bennett learned to ride his bike minus the training wheels... he's loving the freedom!
***The kids had an encounter with the Police!
(it was all harmless of course, he's a neighbor and was picking up something from Brad/ Lizardskins :)
