Kourtney Turned 1!!!

She weighs in at 14 lbs 6 ounces (78%) and 25 inches long...

Kourtney is 3 months old now! Time is speeding by... we have pretty much passed the crazy newborn stage... and she is developing and changing everyday.

Kourtney...

smiles and smiles and smiles

laughs and giggles

recognizes voices

looks to see her brothers, sister, mom and dad

looks at her hands and feet

"loves" getting her hair styled

continues to add more rolls to her legs and arms

is sleeping in her crib in her room with Karson

can sleep through the night OR wake up multiple times

likes to suck her thumb :( ... (perhaps this is the reason she can sleep so well at night)

is loved by her family!

Blessing Day!

Kourtney Lynne was blessed by her dad in the Copper Creek 1st Ward. It was a very nice blessing emphasizing gaining a testimony of the role she has here on earth, striving for the opportunity for an education and receiving the special blessings that are available to her in the temple.

Many family members and friends came to be with Kourtney on her special day. The Tueller family, The Spencer family, Ashlee, Aunt Carole Sullivan, and the Christensen family. And just like dad said in the blessing, she is a joy to us all!
We were also able to take pictures to help us remember this great day and enjoyed a lunch all together!

Koutney's beautiful dress was given to her by the Blaine Barker family and we thought it was perfect to use as her blessing dress!

Her cute blessing booties and matching clip were made by a great family friend, Kristie Miller!

Kourtney was 1 month on April 27...(or 4 weeks on April 24, however you want to look at it).
Kourtney is...
still wanting to eat frequently at night
has given mom and Karson a couple of smiles
is over 9lbs easily
has a very "fussy" time at night
does not particularly like her carseat
still has lots of hair

is missed by Karson when she goes to school
